The project will test how the Agulhas Leakage into the South Atlantic has changed over the last 30,000 years and how these changes have affected North Atlantic Deep Water formation and how changes have affected the climate. This will be done using Nd isotopes in planktonic foraminifera.
OUTCOMES: There were delays attributed to construction delays of the new Geochem building and also to establishing cleaning protocols. Working on an elutriation system. Three journal publications and one one-time publication.
