Lead PI: Donna Jean Shillington , Dr. Spahr C. Webb

Unit Affiliation: Marine and Polar Geophysics, Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO)

January 2010 - March 2014
Inactive
Pacific Ocean ; Alaska
Project Type: Research

DESCRIPTION: The project will use active-source seismic targeting of the seismic seduction zone off the Alaskan Peninsula to examine the properties and behavior of the megathrust. This will be accomplished using five multi-channel seismic profiles and two 8km streams from the R/V Langseth.

OUTCOMES: Large amounts of data collected, four journal publications, and a website have been created.
