- South America ; Uruguay ; Argentina
- Project Type: Research
DESCRIPTION: (1) Assess trends and variability of precipitation in the recent past and investigate quality of decadal scale predictions/projections for providing information on future precipitation; (2) Design proto-type information appropriate to agriculture at 10-20 year time horizon; (3) Assess sensitivity of agriculture to variability and change and develop management strategies to increase resiliency.
OUTCOMES: Trends and variability in the region can be considered realistic and trustworthy in the gridded precipitation analysis.
