To support the creation of a site-specific installation by New Jersey based artist Marion Wilson. Wilson will collaborate with Professor Nicole Davi and her undergraduate students, along with community partners, to investigate the ecology of watersheds, and the connection to surrounding land-use, at a local study site. This research will inform an interactive exhibit integrating art and science at the WP Galleries. Community outreach will include field trips (environmental education tours, exhibit tours, artist lecture and art making workshops) for public middle school students led by the exhibiting artist, WP art faculty, and WP students. A professional development workshop for teachers will prepare classroom teachers to integrate the exhibit into their science and STEAM curricula.
