DESCRIPTION: A traveling exhibition shown in 10 countries, 18 cities (2013-15) with the aim of generating a dialogue on inclusive urbanization. PBBC built on the educational program Global Studio, and the MDG target of improving the lives of slum dwellers. Online as an ongoing resource, the 23 panels in six languages document community driven development through the work of Global Studio and selected urban practitioners. The project highlights the importance of civic engagement in creating resilient, equitable, smart, and sustainable cities. See www.peoplebuildingbettercities.org

OUTCOMES: Outcomes include the showing of PBBC in 12 cities in 2013, and public programs in each.

Exhibition tour: commenced February 22, 2013 in Bangkok and ends Jan 4, 2014.
