Quantifying Thresholds in Arctic Tundra Vegetation Structure & Ecosystem Function using LIDAR & Multispectral Remote Sensing

Lead PI: Natalie T. Boelman

Unit Affiliation: Biology and Paleo Environment, Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO)

November 2012 - October 2016
Inactive
North America ; Alaska
Project Type: Research

DESCRIPTION: The project will use remote sensing to collect data about plant structure and pattern at field research sites on the North Slope of Alaska. The LDEO team will be responsible for the arthropod and micro-environment portions of the study, collection of spectral data, leaf traits, and summer interns.
