DESCRIPTION: The team will ensure that measurements of chlorophyll, microscopy, and FRRF are completed and processed and submitted to SEABASS.
OUTCOMES: Created an extensive bio-optical database, able to assess how climate-mediated events will impact phytoplankton biomass, and will be able to gain better insight to the possible consequences of sea ice melt on phytoplankton communities. Project resulted in 13 peer reviewed publications, a PhD dissertation, 15 presentations, and a website.
