Type 1 Collaborative Research: Decadal prediction and stochastic simulation of hydroclimate over monsoonal Asia

Lead PI: Dr. Andrew Robertson

Unit Affiliation: International Research Institute for Climate and Society (IRI)

September 2011 - August 2015
Inactive
Asia ; Southeast Asia
Project Type: Research

DESCRIPTION: The project will develop and test statistical methods of river flow prediction, merge these predictions with GCM climate change projections, quantify uncertainties in these merged models, and test these models using hydrologic models for the Bhakra Beas Management Board reservoirs and the Yangtze River Three Gorges Dam.
