DESCRIPTION: This project provided ASPR, CDC, and NIEHS Hurricane Sandy recovery science grantees with access to a geospatial query tool that enabled them to analyze location-based social media data related to Hurricane Sandy and other past disasters. As part of this project, the grantee developed a web portal to provide social media training and resources to the grantees and to the public health community. The free, online social media training suite ​Exit Icon includes: Free online course “Social Media in Preparedness and Response, Video discussions and tutorials, and Additional social media resources, including peer reviewed articles, white papers, and tools.
