The grant funded a workshop on Paleocean Acidification and Carbon Cycle Perturbation Events to improve researchers' networks and interactions as well as to focus questions to improve knowledge on the topics.
OUTCOMES: Workshop was held on Catalina Island in August of 2010. 56 participants attended and concluded that anthropogenic carbon emissions have caused unparalleled ocean acidification in Earth's recent history. Two journal articles published.
