DESCRIPTION: The goal(s) of this project are: (1) Apply the computational models and analytical frameworks developed by the Columbia University Water Centre to the work of the New York Providing Water Sustainably Priority in establishing a more circular approach to integrated water management and governance, (2) Explore a range of research questions at the nexus of several water resource issues including water allocation, climate change, water quality and treatment systems, and environmental flows for New York, (3) Test NY Sustainable Water Fellowship as a model for the creation of new/new types of capacity for The Nature Conservancy's work in New York around water allocation, valuation, efficiency, and supply chains, and (4) Bolster larger collaboration beyond New York between TNC and Columbia University.
