DESCRIPTION: The goal is to establish a partnership that will make a thorough search of existing polar climate science, learning and decision resources and then develop the theoretical foundation for, and test the initial designs of, novel formal and informal educational approaches that will help adult learners to understand the mechanisms and impacts of, as well as possible solutions to, climate change and learn how to respond with sustainable solutions.
OUTCOMES: 2010-2012: Researchers developed climate change educational activities, and further developed the theoretical foundation for these educational approaches.
