DESCRIPTION:
The PI Jacqueline M Klopp will:
1) Provide intellectual guidance on directions for Digital Transport 4 Africa, the open data sharing platform for transport data in African cities and support collaborative research into governance of digital commons, collating inputs from partners and supporting a concrete framework for long term sustainability and good management of the DT4A digital commons.
2) Engage in discussions on future partnership and coordination especially around research that leverages open data.
3) Provide input into the open call for Beyond Mapping projects and help define the aims and content of the call as well as the jury and criterion for judging.
4) Participate in and provide input into the first 2021 public event that brings the network together currently scheduled for June.
Deliverables: brief on governance of digital commons as a way to inform ongoing discussions and contribution to DT4A strategic planning, write an article on the Beyond Mapping process and outcomes for DT4A website.
