DESCRIPTION:

A Climate School-based initiative to create an interdisciplinary meeting space to support and catalyze needed research, education, and public service in Environmental and Climate Justice. The Environmental and Climate Justice at Columbia (ECJaC) Project aims to create a platform where students, faculty, and members of the Columbia and NYC community can: * Learn about initiatives related to environmental and climate justice going on at Columbia and NYC. * Connect with people that are working on similar issues. * Find resources to start projects on environmental justice with Columbia as an ally. The Project is made up of over 50 members representing 12 Columbia schools and programs, including the Climate School, Law School, Barnard College, Columbia College, Mailman School of Public Health, Medical Center, School of International and Public Affairs, and School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
