DESCRIPTION: The project will enhance the understanding of the physically driven cycling of gases in the ocean which will advance knowledge and predictability of ocean uptake of CO2, deep ocean denitrification rates, and the importance of bubbles in mediating air-sea gas fluxes.

OUTCOMES: Have implemented Transport Matrix Method (TMM) in the Community Earth System Model.
