The team will generate multiple monthly-resolved, multi-proxy reconstructions of central tropical Pacific SST and hydrology from modern and fossil corals to deliver quantitative uncertainty estimates for each reconstruction.
OUTCOMES: Data has been downloaded. Precipitation, evaporation, and SST fields have been gridded to 2 degree by 2 degree grids for four simulations. Sea surface salinity has been added. Comparison of simulations and observations is underway.
