DESCRIPTION: Tree-ring data from Glacier Bay, Alaska, will be used to create a continuous record of climate variability and glacial activity for the North Pacific Rim dating over the last 10,000 years.
OUTCOMES: Tree-ring cores have been collected and analyzed from living and subfossil wood from Glacier Bay. Past core collections from the greater Alaskan cost have also been reviewed for potential analysis.
