DESCRIPTION: Collaborating with the National Institute of Oceanography in India the project will combine all geophysical data from the Andaman Sea available with high-resolution earthquake locations for a comprehensive geophysical study of the Andaman Sea's structure and tectonics.

OUTCOMES: The project has improved the precision of ISC and EDR hypocenter locations, and found that seismic spreading only accounts for 7% of the long-term spreading. Three journal publications.
