DESCRIPTION: The project will develop tools for forecasting flood risks and assessing vector-borne disease risks for SERVIR-Africa in support of infectious disease monitoring and outbreak prediction by integrating NASA remotely-senses products into SERVIR.
OUTCOMES: Found there is a four month lag between the peak in surface water and the peak in malaria outbreak in most locations. Produced seven vector-borne disease assessment tools. Made progress on the other four tasks.
