DESCRIPTION: This subaward from the New York Hall of Science (NYSCI) was for a 3-year National Science Foundation grant on Interaction Research in Complex Informal Learning Environments. CIESIN provided scientific guidance on sustainability issues in support of the development of the award-winning Connected World Exhibit, now available at NYSCI.

OUTCOMES: Connected Worlds, a major multimedia, interactive exhibit on sustainability at the New York Hall of Science: https://nysci.org/home/exhibits/connected-worlds/. The exhibit has received the 2017 Gold MUSE award, in the category for interpretive interactive installations, from the American Alliance of Museums.
