DESCRIPTION: The CWC will conduct field surveys in theareas of and surrounding Vijapur and Mansa Talukas in northern Gujarat. The surveys will cover basic hydrological and agricultural characteristics and the manner in which farmers are adapting to them, as well as some characteristics of local water markets and well ownership.

OUTCOMES: CWC staff will enter collected data into an electronic database, and also provide a qualitative summary of their impressions in each village.
