BIOGRAPHY: Anna Papp is a first year PhD student in Sustainable Development at Columbia. Her research interests lie in the fields of environmental and health economics. Anna graduated from Harvard University in 2016 with a major in Environmental Engineering and a minor in Computer Science.

Prior to starting her PhD at Columbia, Anna was a Research Assistant at the Yale School of Management, where she worked on various projects related to applied microeconomics, industrial organization, and health economics. Anna also worked as an equity research associate on AB Bernstein’s U.S. Restaurants team for two years. In her spare time, Anna enjoys hiking, running, and board games.
