BIOGRAPHY:

Liz joined the Climate School in September of 2022 and serves as a cross-functional project leader supporting the development of central administrative functions for the school. She comes to Columbia after spending over a decade in the public sector, working in program management, operations, and organizational development.

She received her BA from Hunter College, and an MPA from Baruch’s Marxe School of Public and International Affairs, where she started her career in local government serving as a Public Service Scholar working in the New York City Council, and later as an NYC Urban Fellow during the Bloomberg administration.

In her personal time, Liz enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys, and hosts a podcast, Civil Conversations, which explores NYC politics and policy with current and former civil servants. 

Current Projects: Microsoft 365 transition planning, Climate School intranet site development, administrative process support, and other projects as identified.
