BIOGRAPHY: Eugene is a first-year PhD student in Sustainable Development. His research interests are in energy, transport, and the social costs of climate change. Outside of research, he enjoys working out, traveling, and listening to electronic music.

Previously, he worked at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, the Center for Applied Data Science, and the World Bank on oil, data science education, and natural disasters. He’s a graduate of United World College, Colorado College (BA in Environmental Science with Chemistry), and the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies (MeSc in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics).
