BIOGRAPHY:
Haein Shin is an education professional with experience in project and program implementation, management, Monitoring & Evaluation, training and content development for projects in Myanmar, India, Morocco, Saudi Arabia and 10 countries in sub-Saharan Africa over the course of the past ten years.
At the Center for Sustainable Development, she designs and curates content for Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), conducts research and provides feedback through Monitoring & Evaluation, trains facilitators and sets up operational workflow for training programs. She has been working in this capacity for projects focusing on: early grade literacy, digital literacy, life skills and employment readiness especially for women and girls, technology integration to teaching methods, environmental activism and peace education-- projects whose aim is to build toward sustainable and resilient communities.
She received her Master of Arts in International Educational Development from Teachers College, Columbia University and her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the College of William and Mary.
