BIOGRAPHY:
Kathryn Cheng is a Ph.D. student co-advised by Prof. Ben Bostick (Aqueous Geochemistry Lab) and Prof. Dan Westervelt (Aerosol Group). Her research focuses on aerosol formation and chemical composition, combining field methods, analytical chemistry, and computational modeling to study the effects of aerosols on human health and the environment. She earned her B.S. in Geology from the University of Toronto in 2023. Outside the lab, Kathryn enjoys playing tennis and the violin.
