BIOGRAPHY:

I'm a geographic information specialist in the Geospatial Applications Division at CIESIN. I have worked in research and academia on data set development, vulnerability assessments, and projects supporting environmental and humanitarian efforts, and achievement of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). I have degrees in geography (GIS) and earth and environmental sciences, and I am versed in ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Pro, spatial analysis, Python (Programming Language) for geoprocessing workflows, and data QA/QC. As an associate in the Department of Ecology, Evolution and Environmental Biology, I co-teach the undergraduate course, GIS for Sustainable Development.
