BIOGRAPHY: Nicolas is a first-year PhD student in Sustainable Development. His main research interests lie at the intersection of environmental economics and economics of inequality, in order to understand the various interlinkages between climate change impacts, environmental policies and income distribution issues.

Prior to joining Columbia, Nicolas worked for the French Agency for Development (AFD) in Uzbekistan on Energy and Infrastructure projects. Nicolas holds a master’s degree from the Paris School of Economics, where he specialized in Public Policy and Development and a Bachelor from the Multidisciplinary Cycle of Paris Sciences et Lettres in Economics and Social Sciences.
