BIOGRAPHY:
Dr. Zhonghai Jin is currently working as a physical scientist at the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies. He has extensive experience in radiative transfer theory and modeling, and in the remote sensing of atmospheric and surface properties. He has developed the Coupled Ocean-Atmosphere Radiative Transfer (COART) model, which is available online for public at https://satcorps.larc.nasa.gov/jin/coart.html . Dr. Jin has led and participated a number of research projects related to atmospheric radiative transfer, climate change and remote sensing retrieval of atmospheric and surface properties.
